Directors preparing for a new public company board role or looking to position themselves for future board seats will gain real-world and real-time insights into boardroom fundamentals in today's dynamic business environment.
NACD's world-renowned Governance Fellowship foundation course has equipped directors with the boardroom fundamentals and leading practices needed to serve as strategic assets for nearly a decade. This course covers the building of boardroom effectivness, including expanding committee responsibilities, the board's role in strategy and risk oversight, fiduciary duties, and effective communication with the C-suite. An online option allows the flexibility to learn when and where your busy schedule allows.
In order to earn the Governance Fellowship, members need to attend Director Professionalism® and earn 4 credits (skill or collaborative credits) within 12 months.
